"It’s a very nice cave hotel that is very conveniently located to explore the old Matera on foot. It is safe and quiet at night. There is also a very good restaurant right outside the door Dominica was absolutely wonderful. She came to meet me all the way at the airport, even though my flight was delayed and I didn’t arrive until the evening. She also gave me a detailed information on what to see in the town, the most important landmarks, where to go for nice views, where to go out to eat, etc....

"Staying in a cave was so awesome. Julia and the staff were amazing. The wine happy hour was fun and breakfast was very good. It was worth staying here. We did not get to use the pool area but it was calm, serene and beautiful. The entire facility had a calmness to it thst just relaxed you and made you feel welcome. "

"The room was gorgeous and the hotel itself was amazing. I couldn’t believe how comfortable the room was. And I was amazed by the high ceiling. Although not in the caves itself it only took a few minutes walk to get to them.
But the best part of the experience was the staff. They went above and beyond to make my stay there perfect. "
