"The location of the property is along the scenic river. It was a nice place to sit and unwind. The room was clean and comfortable. It had an ample supply of toiletries and towels. It was nice to have the eggs cooked to order for the complementary breakfast. I was surprised to find the stairwells and doormats in need of a thorough cleaning. They stood out in stark contrast to the rest of the well kept hotel. I would stay there again.

"My husband and I spent two nights during the off season (late September) and everything was perfect. Most of the amenities in the ski village itself were already closed, but the resort was quiet, the hot tub was open, the restaurant served us daily, and the setting (nestled in the crest of the mountains) was amazing. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a great stay in a beautiful location. We Loved it."
"We had a lovely stay. it was clean and nice.
However, there were a lot of dogs. They barked and we could hear them in our room.
A dog barked from 3 pm to 7 pm we asked the reception what was going on. She wanted to call the owners
we don't understand that there is no rule that dogs cannot be left alone in the rooms.
In the evening we were at the reception and relaxed when a huge German shepherd comes in. without a leash and without an owner. it ran around. our daughter was terrified. the lady...
"The carpet in the room is stained and dirty and needs to be cleaned. The Handicap lever at exterior entry to the hotel does not work. It was reported to front desk; they were aware and had not fixed yet. A lobby Handicapped bathroom door does not open easily and sticks. Also reported that to front desk."
"The Old Taos Guesthouse is such a gem. The property is a little outside Taos in a very peaceful setting. The property and the rooms are beautiful and exude character. Coffee and tea are available 24/7. They serve an amazing breakfast, with everything homemade. It was the best quiche I’ve ever had. We enjoyed lounging on the property in the evening and listening to the birds. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Taos."
