"La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos. La zona abierta de cocina-comedor y salón-barbacoa con piscina muy agradable y en bastantes buenas condiciones. La comunicación con la propiedad muy fluida y el servicio muy bueno. Todo el mundo muy servicial. Fue una buena toma de contacto con Costa Rica y su fauna. Quizá por poner una pega, la falta de lavadora-secadora. Estuvimos en temporada de lluvia y nos tuvimos que llevar la ropa mojada. Suerte que continuábamos nuestro viaje y pudimos...

"We received a very welcoming from Ken and his son Juan Diego. Juan was very helpful for connecting us to make visiting Monteverde easier. And we loved Bella and Coco. The house could use little more lighting some lightbulbs are burn out, location is great not too far from town. . "

"I saw the reviews & the one thing that stood out was the hospitality of the family! Well, it was true! My daughter & I didn’t arrive to the property til very late…after midnight. We flew in from different cities so I had to wait for her at the airport. We then had about 2hr drive to the property. I kept in contact w/ the hosts to give them an ETA. Well, the host, Anjara, was there waiting when we arrived to welcome us!…yes, at midnight! She gave us brief instructions & showed us around the...

"Everything about her stay was very good The house is large, the patio is covered so you can sit outside in the daily rain, and there is even a separate building with an upstairs outdoor bedroom. The host was great, very responsive recommended the best brewery maybe in Costa Rica! Great location for all area activities.. A few minor issues but I would absolutely recommend it."

"Nice somewhat remote cabin (5min for main road / 25min from La Fortuna), immersed in nature with a nicely tended garden. Unfortunately we were not able to access the nearby hotel pool (they might have a new management). The house itself might need some repair but it did not affect our stay. We will miss our breakfasts on the terrace, looking at the birds flying over the garden and forest!"

"We were immersed into the neighborhood or the local La fortuna residences and close to the town and tour activities. We stayed with our 2 daughters, 10 and 12, while there is no AC, it cools off enough in the evening to be perfectly comfortable. There is a small market near by for basics. The yard is beautifully kept and Zuelema is very communicative when gardeners came to work. There is a river near by that we got to meet some of the locals and play in the water away from the tourist areas....

"Comfortable, fun house with an absolutely incredible view of the forest. The porches are perfect rain or shine and the extended yard down the trail is great for observing birds and butterflies. Felt immersed in the countryside. Close enough to town that going out is relatively quick and easy. Road into the house was in good shape."
