I accidentally locked myself out of the house the first night and the owner showed up in less than 5 minutes (they live down the street) to let me back in. AC worked great during a very hot week. I will definitely be staying again. However, I did notice the nightly rate was significantly more now than it was a week ago, not sure how vrbo does that."

"My daughter stayed here while in the “flex” period for apartments. The unit was exactly like the photos - but better! There were little extras (coffeemaker, fridge, surprisingly roomy closet). The unit was exceptionally clean, and the outdoor patio was the perfect bonus. The owner was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, and answered all questions quickly. I am so glad we found this place, and will definitely be coming back to stay when we visit San Marcos."

"My wife and I had a great experience for our 15th anniversary. We stayed in Casita 3 which is standalone from the other Casitas. We parked the car and were able to walk everywhere for the duration of our weekend. Downtown Gruene is a 2 minute walk away and we found a great coffee shop (Kora Kora) about 5 minutes in the other direction.
