We arrived very late at night and it didn’t feel like a safe area. The security guard was very helpful and friendly. When we got to the lobby, we were disappointed at how dirty and unkept it was. The condo is outdated. The dining table was full of small insects, the counter was dirty. The dryer was missing the handle and the door was filthy. The refrigerator door was dirty. There were covers on the sofas that were also dirty. Unfortunately, I stayed my first night because we arrived late at night so that is why we stayed in San Juan. Thinking it was going to be the ideal place, I had also booked it for our last night to be close to the airport, but after the experience, I wanted to cancel the last night, but was told I would only get 50% refund. Knowing that meant losing too much money, I hesitantly kept the reservation and now feeling anxiety about staying there on the last night. The only good things about the place is the closeness to the airport and the view, and the quick responses from of the host.
