"The house is great, finding it was a challenge as the google pin wasn’t accurate. The 4x4 recommendation is no joke. We regretted not having gone food shopping beforehand. Once you are there, you won‘t want to leave. Beds, kitchen equipment, pool are all magnificent! We did have a power cut in the night which caused the electronics to beep. So sad we only had 3 nights in the house."

Kids arrived with jaws dropped, the outdoor kitchen & dining area was spacious next to the pool. View of the ocean and watching the tropical rain squalls pass over - stunning. A perfect getaway. Kitchen stocked with ample equipment to cook, small salt shaker, no other spices. Scant containers to hold leftovers, but that was not a priority. Definitely need 4wd to get up to the...

"We had a wonderful family gathering. The Casa Muy Facil had gorgeous views, room for all of us and the pool was magnificent. "

"Stayed here for three nights. Walked around the entire property. Enjoyed a very well groomed garden with variety of tropical fruits. Prepared food with ease. Slept comfortably without AC. The road is bad but I have experience a lot worse. Ensure you just have a 4x4 with enough clearance. We used an FJ Cruiser and it was more than enough. The owner and local hosts are great and can give you advice on your stay. Definitely coming back!"

After walking down the stairs, you see the most incredible rock house with built-in spa, open concept living/dining areas, and truly incredible bathroom with heated seat and great shower. We loved spending family time together in this memorable location. If we had more time, we would have enjoyed hanging out in the gazebo over the river. Very excited to return someday."

"This house is truly one of a kind. It felt like stepping into The Croods (the movie)—living in a cave, but an incredibly luxurious one! The kids said it was like being in a fairytale and were genuinely sad to leave. Tucked away by the river and off the beaten path, it had everything we needed for a magical stay."

"Five of us stayed for five nights. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home owner supplied us with detailed instructions to get to the house and the property manager was quick to answer all of our questions.It really is a nice secluded property but close to everything we needed. Would stay again. Also, we awoke every morning to the sound of toucans in the trees."

"House was perfect for myself and kids for the Dominical portion of our trip in Costa Rica. Pool was great in the evenings with how early it gets dark. The view and quiet are well worth the drive away from beach area. The listing is accurate that you will need 4x4. Easy drive but the wrong by vehicle won’t make it. Use the location in the welcome kit as the location in the app isn’t accurate. "

"My husband and I just spent 28 glorious days at this property. This is our 7th trip to this area and our favorite stay so far. The casita / guest house is new, clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, there is also A/C if you choose, and the WIFI/Internet was strong. The location is only a short drive (maybe 5 minutes?) up the mountain from the highway. A 4 x 4 is a must. It is also a short drive to Playa Matapalo and Playa Linda. I would say the...

"There were 11 of us. We loved the house and Rambo our concierge and chef. Rambo knew everything about the area including contacts with the different excursions near VDF. Without him, we would have struggled to know where to go, where to park if we had gotten our own van, etc. Whether we were out and about or stayed at the house, we loved every minute!"
