Great stay at this historic home for our first visit to San Diego. We were very fortunate to stay here as it was a last-minute booking. It is close to everything in San Diego and surrounding communities. Walking distance to a few great local eateries (tacos, pizza, seafood).
We could watch the sunset every night from the living room through the large kitchen and dining room windows overlooking the city, or from the chairs on the porch.
Having a driveway to park in gave a little extra piece of mind not having to worry about parking hillside - even though there were ample spaces in the street.
Communication with the property owners was always prompt and courteous.
Plenty of space for 2 teenagers to hang out and be comfortable. Everything inside the home was updated as described and felt very much like home, but still retained the charm of this late 1800’s built house. The beds were clean and comfortable, with lots of windows full of natural light.
The house had all of the basic necessities, including cookware, dishes, flatware, coffee, spices and toiletries.
The property is shared with a few other tenants, but we never had any issues with the neighbors.
Great place for a family getaway or for a few families to share a space and enjoy the beautiful city.
