Explore all the city has to offer from this stylish 2 Bedroom in the heart of South Park. Just a short walk to some of the best restaurants, bars, and boutique shops in San Diego. Centrally located- just a quick drive to North Park, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Little Italy and Petco Park. It is about 15 minutes to Mission Beach and Coronado Island!

There are 2 bedrooms in this home, each with a queen bed. There are large flatscreen TV's in each room, and wifi throughout the house!

There are three separate rental units on this property. This unit is in the front, and does not have any shared walls or spaces with the other units. You may see other people on the property going to and from their units, however!

Great house for family with toddler

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy, the Urban Sands team was easy to communicate with via text to locate extra towels and answer other questions. Location was great, near Balboa Park (though not walkable to the zoo/museums -- they are on the opposite side of the park and there is no sidewalk or path through from the east side). The house is under the flight path for the airport, but for our 2 year old the frequent planes overhead were definitely a bonus feature of the house. There's a local deli with great sandwiches and Mexican food a block away, and a small Target and other restaurants a few blocks away as well.The house was well furnished, with a comfortable kitchen table/chairs and a nice couch/chairs in the living room. The bedrooms were small but not unreasonably so, and there was enough room in one bedroom for us to set up a pack n play for our toddler in the corner. A combination of air conditioning during the day and open windows in the evenings made it easy to keep the house at a comfortable temperature.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. As minor feedback items, we would offer 1) there is a hole in the bathroom ceiling over the toilet where it looks like a light fixture was removed; while most likely totally explainable, it was a little unnerving and 2) the blinds on the doors to the private patio (which are located in one of the bedrooms) leave a gap at the sides, making changing at night awkward. Both fixable.

A little bit of heaven in South Park

We had one month at the house & enjoyed every second. The house is well equipped & centrally located. It’s a 10 minute walk to the cafes in South Park & 10 mins to Harland .. a great cafe/ bar.Great sized kitchen, sitting room & bedrooms. There is a small grocery store no morenthan 5 minutes away.Down town San Diego is perhaps 10-15 mins away.Just great house, location & highly recommended!

Great stay

The place was cute and importantly super clean. Hosts were friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Multiple great restaurants are nearby within walking distance. One suggestion I have is if the host could leave a list of favourite restaurants and things to do nearby that would be very helpful. Our best recommendations for food came from our Uber drivers so the locals likely know the best places!

Perfect vacation rental house

Quaint house/location

My coworker and I stayed here while we attended a conference. The home was so cute and clean. It was unusually warm while we were there, but the air conditioner worked beautifully. We enjoyed the patio at night… so fun! We also enjoyed walking to dinner at night. There are so many great food choices nearby. I highly recommend this quaint house!!

Gem in South Park!

Charming stay in a lovely neighborhood! Rooms were bright and airy and clean and match the photos as provided. The kitchen and laundry were a must for our needs and were perfect for us. Bedrooms were cozy and beds comfortable. The patio was the haven! Morning and evenings with a book, meal or beverage on the patio was ideal. The sunset from the front porch can't be missed! Location lent itself to a homebase for exploring the region and also a great spot to head up to Fern St for local food spots. The market up the street was convenient and mini Target not far either. Really enjoyed this stay!

A lovely bungalow in the Best Neighborhood! The backyard patio was a fantastic bonus. Good restaurants nearby, and such a friendly vibe at the local pubs, bakeries and coffee shops!

Cozy, beautiful, great location

Perfect for our family of 3. We loved eating dinner out in the cozy private patio. Two blocks from the best little grocery store in the area, ~15 minutes walk to cute South Park restaurants, easy drive to all the fun stuff in Balboa Park (also took the bus from downtown, which has a stop very close). Plenty of street parking, nice quiet neighborhood aside from the planes. Plenty of room in the 2nd BR to set up our crib, and giving the kiddo a bath did not feel cramped. In-unit washer/dryer was clutch on beach days, though it is loud and right next to a (permanently closed) for to the kids room, so we avoided running it at night or during naps. Living areas have lots of natural light and are nicely appointed. Host was responsive and friendly). Will absolutely be looking for this listing the next time we're in SD.

Fun in South Park

Great Place

Clean, well appointed, well maintained. Excellent neighborhood with restaurants, coffeehouses and gift shops. Grocery store and Target close by. Walking in the neighborhood and park relaxed and pretty.

Cute place

The house is nice, though it is older. It had everything we needed. The location is safe and where it is located, we were able to get to all of the places we wanted to see quickly. The bathroom is very small, but everything worked. The bath mat in the tub needed to be replaced. I’d suggest adding some hooks or more clothing storage options to the bedrooms and closet. When we arrived it was evening and dark and getting the door unlocked was difficult because the lights were all off, needs a timer or motion detector on the porch lighting. It suited our needs, for a quick visit. The back yard area was cute and private. This area of San Diego has many houses that are all super close to each other, so there are very close neighbors on all sides and in the back, but there is a fence around the back yard. The driveway is very steep and parking in the road was never a problem. I can see how if one is not physically able it could be a problem. There are steps in the middle of the driveway for ease of use, but it is very steep. Overall a nice place, just dated.

Great craftsman in South Park

Overall I enjoyed my time in this house! Would recommend and would stay here again. I'll give you the pros and cons pros: quiet neighborhood house is elevated so great views lots of natural light outdoor space was quiet and private beds were comfortable. Pillows were not no surveillance cameras on property off street parking if needed washer/dryer/coffee maker/dishwasher/microwave easy access to freeway walkable to restaurants and shops safe neighborhood cons: wifi doesn't work unless you are near the master bedroom backyard needed a little love. Leaves all over the ground floor wasn't very clean. I had to clean it once I noticed my feet were dirty shortly after arriving driveway is extremely steep so good luck hiking up it with your belongings if you do not utilize the driveway backyard would occasionally smell like a dead fish (I think it was one of the trees) the one bathroom is extremely small coffee maker wasn't the best. My coffee always tasted watery living room tv would constantly disconnect from wifi if the shades are up (especially in the guest room) neighbors can see directly in it's a shared property so you will have neighbors passing by only on the driveway parking is extremely limited (only late at night) so if you arrive late you will have to park in the driveway you can hear your neighbors if they are outside their homes. Good thing I had headphones no chaselounge chair in the yard sofa sunk once you sat in it

Perfect Location

Place was set up perfect with a nice layout. We really never had to drive more than about 10 minutes to get anywhere. We loved the place and would definitely book again! Perfect spot for a San Diego visit!
