We bought the beach home at the end of 2020 and finished an extensive remodel/upgrade in 2021. It has been a wonderful experience to host so many group of guests. We are thrilled that our guests from both VRBO and Air B and B have been enjoying our beach home and loved their stay!
The house is in a perfect location, about a 30-second walk to Mission Bay and a one minute to 2 minutes walk to the beach/Pacific Ocean. Guests can enjoy boogie boarding, body surfing, swimming in the ocean, or the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the beach. Guests can also enjoy kayaking and paddleboarding at the tranquil bay. There are miles-long paths on the oceanside and bayside for biking and walking/jogging. Many convenient bikes and surfing shops near our beach home with very reasonable prices to rent hourly or daily. We provide boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a big wagon, and beach toys for kids. If you are coming in the winter and still like to spend the evening on the beach, there are firepit rentals. It's inexpensive to rent and the company would set everything up per your request. We don't provide any bikes due to the space issue of storing the bikes around the beach. Bike rentals are in the neighborhood.
The house has a large floor plan with three levels. Each level has its bedroom and bathroom that will give guests space and privacy. The huge master bedroom is on the 3rd floor with a king bed, one full bed, and one twin bed to accommodate a family of 4 or 5 plus Pack & Play for babies or toddlers. Two baby gates are provided for the children's protection for the two stairways. One Queen bed on both the first and second floors. Besides 3 bedrooms, we also have a leather queen sleeper sofa/bed in the living room on the 2nd floor and 2 memory foam sleeping mattresses to add flexibility for extra guests. We offer three smart TVs on all three levels of the home that you can log in your own home favorite TV programs . The house has a 2 car garage and washer/dryer on the first floor plus a great outdoor patio, BBQ, and a seating area for 12 people plus an outdoor dining table. Keyless check-in & check-out. There are many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance including children's favorite Belmont Park. There are also all kinds of stores nearby including Ralph's grocery store with underground parking, it's only 0.5 miles away from our beach home. Our home is also very close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, and many other fun places that San Diego has to offer.
Please know we normally book from Sat. to Sat. ( 7 nights minimum) from the middle of June to the middle of August except we occasionally accommodate some special occasions such as family reunions, birthdays, or wedding guests. Please contact me if you have a special event and need to adjust the weekly requirements a bit. I will do my best to accommodate you. We are flexible for the non-summer months.
