Walk to the San Clemente Pier, beach, shops and restaurants. The interior features wood flooring, remodeled kitchens and bathroom. This convenient and desirable location can be a perfect spot for your vacation. San Clemente is a city in Orange County, California. It's known for San Onofre and San Clemente state beaches, with their surf breaks and sandstone bluffs. Running along the coast, the Beach Trail offers sea views and green parks. Near T-Street Beach, long San Clemente Pier stretches out into the Pacific Ocean.

Consistently disappointed!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals and normally very happy with our experiences. We reserved this one for 10 days! So it’s not like we were staying and could deal with a few things for just a long weekend. It said that there was an outdoor space, but it was two chairs that two units (up to 6 people) had to share. What we thought was the outdoor space had a grill and patio table and chairs which we specifically asked the owner if we could use And he said absolutely yes. When we went to use it the long-term tenants in another rental on the same property informed us that we could not use it because it was their personal belongings. It didn’t belong to the owner/host! And that was after we purchased a bunch of food to grill out. Being there 10 days, not one single cleaning product was there. There was no washer and dryer on the site. We had only three forks, one dish rag one dish towel and no cleaners, no mop no vacuum. The area rug was absolutely filthy, and the bottoms of our feet were black within an hour every time we walked on the floor. The bed and bathroom was clean. As well as the kitchen counters.it says it’s a no smoking property… The shared unit in front of us was constant weed smoke, went to bed with headaches from smell. This place was supposed to be for four people… Dining space for only two. One small sofa. No extra sitting chairs. Parking was a nightmare. Can’t park in the driveway because it belongs to the long-term tenants to the back of the property. 😡

Coastal Cottage Stay and Addl Days

Loved Coastal Cottage! Perfect place to stay for our needs! Location was ideal. Was able to walk to everything we wanted and needed: breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening stroll, walk to pier. Also if wanted to visit other locations, easy acess to interstate. Propery was perfect for us. Other reviews co.plained but we didnt find the few short comings to affect our stay. Yes light bulbs burnt out. Bedroom ceiling fan still not working. Screens missing or bent in the wi dows. There was 1 warm day we couldve used bedroom ceiling fan but they did have floor AC unit and heater. We did bring our own fan so that helped. Did not have washer and dryer. Had to do laundry offsite. Bathroom. Bedroom, living room are good sized. Only critique i have is we came to await birth of our grand baby. Gave them heads-up and said may want to extend stay. They said no problem as long as it wasnt booked. We did need to extend our stay. I asked how to, they said get on website and book. I did. It charged me again for same fees which i feel was inappropriate. The cleaning fees, service fees. We didnt leave so no reason for add'l fees. We did book but needed to book a couple more days again but due to lack of process for those wanting to extend, we moved on. Otherwise, stay was good!

San Clementine Stay

Light bulbs were out and I replaced them myself, ceiling fan was broken which they wanted to fix while we were there... I wasn't comfortable with that. Just small stuff that could have been fixed prior to our stay. Place was decently clean just lots of black hair everywhere which might have been the cleaning lady's/man's. Nice appliances and everything provided such as pots/pans, silverware, cups, plates, bowls, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, beach towels, rags, blow dryer. They definitely went all out. Just need to pay a little more attention to detail. As for parking, there is none but lucky we didn't have a vehicle. We just walked, lots of places in walking distance such as winery's, restaurants, a gas station, bars, and the candy shop!

I would not recommend staying at A Coastal Project property

Total lack of communication. We could not get in touch with anyone from Coastal Project for the first 3 days of our stay. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was broken, we didn't have enough toilet paper, we were left no instructions on where to park, we had no wifi code. After 3 days we finally got through to them. They sent the cleaning crew out with toilet paper , extra linens, the ceiling fan was never fixed. Half of the windows had no screens so we couldn't open them. On our 7th day the hot water heater broke. On the 8th day they replaced it. We asked for for refund for all of the " incoveniences", they gave us a very minimal refund which , we felt , did not compensate. Very disappointing.

Great Location - Terrible Parking

Loved the spot besides the broken pull-out bed. There is literally No parking. If you find a spot stay there!
