We were evacuated because of the Spring Fire in Moreno Valley and decided to book a room at this extended stay hotel. The price was not bad and the location was decent. It was nice and clean. Equipped with a full kitchen and nice sized flat screen. It was very quiet which we appreciated after such a long stressful day trying to hurry to get as much as we could to evacuate. Everything was good EXCEPT. We arrived a little after 10pm. I understand the doors were locked due to the time of night. However, there was no sign of when they would return and no one would answer the phones. Once the guy came out at least 15 minutes later he looked like he just woke up from a nap, yawning and disheveled. I told him that me and another family had been waiting and he explained he had to do rounds on the area. I said ok, but maybe you could leave a sign or something next time. After that he became extremely rude and began speaking in a harsh tone as he began the check in process. When I asked questions he responded with an attitude and cut me off at everytime. I let him know we just want to get our room and wanted to understand how things work at an extended stay since we were part of the fires and did not know how long we may need to stay. He continued to be rude and insensitive. Luckily, another employee arrived to the front desk and I asked if she could help me finish completing my check in because he was so rude. He tried to protest, but she saw the tension and took over.
