The board games were such a thoughtful touch and made the cabin feel even cozier. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was communicative and easy to reach throughout our trip. "Hi, I’d like to actually request a half refund considering the state of the home. There was no AC, in the middle of summer when temperatures outside reach the 90s meaning temperatures inside were in the 80sIt was incredibly uncomfortable, almost unbearable. If we had booked for a 2nd night we wouldn’t have been able to stay there. Not only that, it was dusty and dirty. It looked like no one had been there to clean for months. There were old tissues and trash left behind the bedside tables and an...

"We enjoyed our stay overall, and the location was wonderful. Being surrounded by the forest made for a peaceful setting, and it was a great home base for exploring the area. There were a few things that could be improved. The dogs next door barked every time we returned to the cabin and also woke us up some mornings at 6:00 a.m. The cabin could also have been stocked a little better. While I realize the listing probably noted there wasn't a dishwasher or microwave (I simply overlooked it), and I...

"This place was so nice and cozy, i would say better than the pictures even.
Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs were a hit, and it was super quiet at nice. A great place to get away and rest. We even extended our stay and had them deliver more firewood it was so nice.
I would gladly return, or at least see what else Cool Cabins has to offer. Close to the lake and shops nearby, but away from traffic and backs onto the forest. Whats not to like?"
