"The hotel is located in a new - eternal city of Samarkand. We loved this area more than crowded area around registan and so called old town. The room we have booked was bigger (81msq) but in fact we were given a room maximum 60msq, still my son roamed and enjoyed and we had a nice time. I mark cleanliness 4 stars because of very dirty carpets in the room, room itself was fairly clean. I also would like to highlight high quality coffee in the room, best I had in room in Samarkand. "5 stars: friendly owner and staff, attentive, helpful; good breakfast, good location; ping pong table & parrots. 2 stars: the room (hot water in the shower wasn't working so I couldn't wash my hair, a guy came to "fix it" but I only got a few drops of water and not enough for showering properly). The bed was also very uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on the floor. I have never slept on a harder bed. Felt like it had no matress. Also no real blanket, so cold at night."
