"The hotel had more character of an apartment building than a hotel. The apartment in which I stayed was spacious and in a good shape. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a big balcony. The owners/staff were helpful and discrete at the same time. I got a special off season offer and for that price I have nothing to complain about. "Sonesta was alright as a whole. The good things about this resort is the facilities and the options and selections of restaurants, drinks etc. The bad things about the place is definitely the service. I have rarely experienced such bad service on a holiday. The service (or lack thereof) was mainly an issue in the restaurants, where the staff was rude. I even had a waiter rolling her eyes because I asked for a baby chair. "
