"The staff is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. This is a small group of cabins on the side of a rainforestountain with natural pools and a 100 year old main house recently renovated. The food was delicious and healthy. But most of all, the staff was so generous when we were late for meal or needed help with the layout of the grounds. It's a place of magic and stillness. "

"Pax Guest House is in a heritage building so it is important to know that some of the facilities are older. "This is my third time staying at Kapok and one of the things I love the most is the breakfast and the ladies that work in the breakfast section... The rooms are fine and the beds are comfy. The Balcony is cool, I like to sit out there though it faces the street. It does seem like it's a bit of an older hotel, but it's fine. I think one thing is that some of the front desk people could be friendlier. It was my third year I knew I had to wait for a room for early check in, and even longer this...

"The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain.
