"We had an exceptional experience at the Garrya Nijo Castle hotel. The team at the front desk as well as the team in the on-site restaurant went over and above at every opportunity to ensure we were well served. The location is convenient to public transit, and it’s proximity to the core of Kyoto meant we were only a 10 to 20 minute transit ride from almost anything we wanted to do or see in Kyoto."

"This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."
