"Very good and clean..
Free cellphone with unlimited data for each resident, usable for a cheap wifi Hotspot as well (300yen each 24 hr) rooms are fine, some staff members speak a mix of European languages including English and Spanish,
Check in and out via self-service on Ipads.
Mixed floors, mostly tourists.
Only thing to put a finger on is the "Free continental breakfast"
Consists of very hard boiled eggs, white bread, honey, butter and jam + tea, coffee and juice

"I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. "

"Amazing stay at this property! The property was clean, simple, and very convenient as it was merely a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and there were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the owner himself truly made this experience personable and one of kind. We definitely will recommend this...

"We stayed here for just one night, and it was a lovely experience.
The location is perfect — only a short, easy walk from Kawaguchiko Station.
Check-in was smooth and simple, and the host was very thoughtful.
There are also many cultural touches and experiences you can enjoy inside the house, which made the stay feel special.
The only minor downside is that since the room has tatami flooring,
it can feel a bit humid, and there’s a faint damp smell when you first enter from outside.

"We had a wonderful experience. The house and the garden are very beautiful and had a very nice atmosphere. The onsen (the big one on the left) is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. "

"Meget fint og roligt beliggende. 200 meter fra togstation i Hakone. Derfra direkte adgang med bus til Ropeway og Hakone rundtur. Super syn af Fuji og skøn sejltur på søen"

"The rooms are small, fine to live in, but difficult with luggage, so be ready to have little floor space left. The building is relatively close to Shinjuku station. But that station is HUGE, and sometimes you left an exit that was a 15 min walk from the station, and other times 5 minute walk. So keep that in mind. It's not the easiest to find the right exit every time (believe me)."
"Beautiful city view. The room has a good space for 1-2 person, very clean with all accessories that you will need both for leisure trip or work from elsewhere. I have very stable WiFi for work and very good coffee in room machine. Fitness 24 hrs is also very clean with free water and towel. Location is very convenient and very good restaurants and clovers stores nearby. Love this place."
"Værelset var rent og pænt, men ekstremt lille. Vi boede to mennesker med to kufferter og kunne ikke pakke tøjet ud og hænge det op. Sengen var også meget smal og ikke egnet til to voksne. Ellers var hotellet rent og pænt og folk utrolig hjælpsomme. Det ligger midt i shinjuku og alt er lige ude for døren. "
