"The home was perfect for our mini UP getaway. The addition / main bedroom was where my husband and I spent most of our time hanging out. It also smelled fresh and nice like new wood. The rest of the house was quite musty smelling, which is to be expected with an older seasonal cabin, but it should be noted because some folks with allergies may experience a reaction (our kiddo did). "The house was awesome! Lots of room and more than enough bedrooms/bathrooms for three couples to spend a few days together discovering the UP! We explored the area and had a great time! "Overall we loved our stay at the cabin. Having 6 people in the cabin made the single bathroom tough at times, but we made it work. I wish the water was a little closer as my mother has a hard time walking and couldn’t use the path to the beach, but t was beautiful. "It was a perfect central location for us to explore the Pictured Rocks/Lake Superior area ! Aspen house was exceptionally clean, quiet, light and airy and had everything we needed for our brief "mid-trip of the UP" stay, allowing us to recharge and relax. "This rental was such a beautiful, cozy cottage on such a pretty beach! It was the perfect size for just the two of us and we loved the little wood burning furnace. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! "This was the perfect rental for 2 couples on a side-by-side trip. The house is bigger than it seems in the pictures and the house has a great layout. The laundry room was so convenient, because when we would get back from riding we could throw our dusty clothes in the washer before entering the main part of the house. It kept everything and everyone cleaner. The house is extremely close to downtown and near by trails, great location. I would definitely stay there again, I was very impressed."
