"We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! "Really enjoyed our stay here. The host communicated well throughout. The barn is lovely and spacious with lots of space. The hosts had left little touches such as shower gel and shampoo etc which was lovely. My daughter loved being near the horses and the ladies in the stables next door were really friendly. Couple of niggles - having to walk around the property for the hot tub and cobwebs in windows, lamps and lampshades in bedrooms."

"Excellent service at reception, both at check-in and departure. Nice food in the restaurant, no frills but good. A shame it is not possible to be picked up in front of the hotel (there is a bay but it is not allowed to be used) had a lot of trouble finding my taxi."
