"Excellent staff: friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean. The place is more than 600 years old and has that wonderful personality, which comes with age. There is history it tells without speaking a word. Those who like places with personalities will love The Thirsty Scholar."

"Good location and good food. Lovely room. Welcome a bit so and so. Kitchen staff more welcoming than the reception staff who, to be fair, were also manning the bar (although the bar wasn't overly busy when we arrived). "
