This hotel was wonderful. Rooms were very clean, and such attention to detail. Local artwork throughout, we loved the dimmer switches in the room and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, room stayed cool, room darkening shades.
The self parking garage is directly next to the hotel. And across the street is the subway to take you into downtown - it couldn't be more convenient.
We did not use the restaurant in the hotel but ate dinner one night at a great Iltalian restaurant just down...

"When I came, the people at the front desk were very helpful. Somebody offered to bring one of my bags up to my room. And then when I went to my room, unfortunately the sink was clogged and somebody came right away to fix it and my room ended up being really great!"

"Close to amenities, walkable to most major tourist attractions and shopping. There are plenty of grocery, coffee and food options in the area. Even though it’s in the heart of downtown, it’s still quiet while in the property. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable. The AC worked wonderfully during the heat wave as well."

"The location was excellent! We didn't need a car or an Uber because you could walk everywhere from the CN Tower to Harbour Point or the Eaton Center.
Also the host (Anish) was very helpful with providing storage options for our luggage and helping with the quick check-in and check-out process.
The apartment itself was nice, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I didn't get to use the kitchen amenities, but it's wonderful to have everything needed for a full stay.

We recently stayed at GLOBALSTAY Toronto for one week, having booked a room for two people. I was already charged extra for the second guest — something I considered odd but accepted at the time.
What followed was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience I’ve had — and I say this having accumulated over 1,000 hotel nights in the past.
First, we were provided with only one key. This created an absurd logistical nightmare. It made it impossible for one person to use the gym while the other went out, because the single key was required both to access the elevator and to lock the apartment door. When I requested a second key — a completely reasonable ask given that I booked for two guests — GLOBALSTAY demanded an additional charge. So in total, I was expected to pay extra twice simply so both guests could independently come and go from the room. That’s unacceptable, exploitative, and borders on absurd.
The bed, allegedly meant for two, was a cramped 140 cm. The terrace doors and windows were disgustingly filthy, clearly not cleaned for quite some time —
In short: DO NOT book GLOBALSTAY. This was a deeply disappointing, frustrating, and infuriating experience from start to finish. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look elsewhere — anywhere else."
