"We had a great stay at Kauai Shores! The hotel was very clean, and the location was perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and many of Kauai's attractions. We loved how our room had a lot of storage space for our bags, beach stuff, groceries and didn’t feel overcrowded. The property was beautiful, and everything was well maintained. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any family looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay on Kauai."

"Fint hotel og god placering. Hjælpsomt personale. Skøn udsigt. Dejligt poolområde og helt tæt på stranden. Rengøring skulle bestilles 2 døgn i forvejen “grundet covid ??” Så vi fik kun 1 rengøring på 5 nætter. Dog kunne der hentes rene håndklæder i receptionen. Sengen var dog virkelig elendig. Tv’et virkede ikke, så de refunderede resortfee, God stil. Vi havde sen hjemflyvning og fik lov at opholde os ved pool med poolhåndklæder hele dagen helt selvfølgeligt :) Jeg vil ikke sige...

"The only thing was that the 'beach' nearest the resort is not swimmable (mostly rocks)-however we, walked further up and there was actually sand, but the beach looked unsafe with a visible drop off in ocean--but it was ok for a nice stroll--just not too far from hotel. Make sure you let hotel staff know at check-in if you want your room cleaned (which we prefer..)--especially if you have beach activities what with all the sand, showering and change of clothes. Otherwise, they have everything...

"We were a little disappointed with this hotel. In general it didn’t look like it had been updated for many many years. That being said the room was ok. Breakfast was a grab and go with a horrible and small selection. Rooms didn’t get cleaned, while we were there (3 nights), which probably was due to Covid precautions. We couldn’t store luggage after check out, which also was a little irritating, when we had a late flight."

"Worn and dirty The room was worn with a number of deficiencies, e.g. rust ran down the bathtub, the doors in the room had obvious large, black stains of dirt and there was old dust and dirt in the corners. The room had a small balcony, but the furniture was so dirty that it could not be used. The hotel hallway was not cleaned during the 6 days we stayed there. "Check-in was smooth as well as check-out. List of easy instructions to follow, nice little gift, and quick responses from staff members about any issue. My family and I ran into a little issue at night, and they were quick to respond and send someone as soon as they could to resolve the problem. I would hands down book this spot again when I go back."
