"The condo is in a great location with an excellent view of the ocean. The condo itself is needs updating. The bed was not very comfortable and has a foam mattress topper that is way too soft plus the sheets do not fit, constantly coming off. "

"This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Islander on the beach in the Hawaii building. It has a view of the water but not direct on the boardwalk so it’s much more private. Being on the 3rd floor you can leave the slider door open and hear the ocean. This unit was great with having the extra table holding the microwave it gave you more counter space by the sink. "Pros: Outstanding ocean and beach view from the back porch and out the sliding glass doors of the unit. Top floor corner beach front unit is as good as it gets in the complex. Complex landscaping and unit spacing were nice and had a botanical garden feel. It was very handy to be right on the walking/bike path along the beach that runs up and down the coast. "The stay was very disappointing. At the 4pm check in (which was very late) the condo was not cleaned. I was half way through cleaning in myself when a couple showed to finish. No washer and dryer. The space isn’t even set up for it even though it’s listed in the amenities. Upon arrival the TV was not working. The owner was notified and it took 4 days to be replaced. Normally not a big deal but this was just a solo golf trip and I could have really used the relax time at night. The space was used...
