Wij hadden een huisje aan het water, volgens mij de oudste in het resort. Alles was vies, schimmel in de koelkast, heel veel beestjes in de kamer. Vooral mieren en ook hele grote die via de badkamer naar binnen kwamen lopen. Na een black out deed de airco het niet meer... de beestjes liepen over het ontbijt. Voor ons als "verwende" westerlingen niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Helaas was er geen andere kamer beschikbaar omdat alles vol zat door een bruiloft en een festival dus het was even doorbijten drie dagen.

Unfortunately the hotel is not well kept - the bathroom had only cold water to shower & is in need of a refurb and good clean. Building works around the hotel are still not completed. A disappointing return from our last visit in 2019. We don’t recommend & will not stay again.

The room that was assigned to us looks spooky, The toilet door squeak and the veranda ceiling needs to be fix.. it's such a shame though coz every time we come home in Roxas we love to stay here.

There were no towels when we checked in. The air con was broken so it was always hot. Not a great place to stay especially if your room is connected to cafe felise.

Stay was ok. Staff was friendly for the most part. Did. Not use the pool. Water was very cloudy. Turned me off on that cleanliness. Breakfast was ok. I would have love to seemore fruits. Very stingy on towels. Im In the Philippines for 14 days and I’m Staying in other hotels and this is the only hotel I’m giving low or mediocre ratings

A good choice and value in Roxas City
The San Antonio resort has two large swimming pools, and is directly across the street from the beach with easy access (be aware the beach could use a good cleaning and the pools had too many kids). The rooms are not new, but clean and roomy. We ate at the restaurant and also poolside and the food is fair to food. Free shuttle to the airport which is 5-10 minutes away.

The overall condition of the resort is poor. It was raining when we got there and had to walk through puddles and mud to get to our room. Property was dirty and electrical hazards were everywhere

Nice hotel, nasty beach
The room and grounds were nice. I didn't have a chance to get in the pool though. The beach though, ugh, very dirty and gross. A huge disappointment after everyone acted like Baybay beach was such a great place. I felt like I needed a penicillin shot after walking in the sand! If the beach are was nicer, I would love to to stay here again.

Great location!
SAR is located across the street from the beach. There are many restaurants close by. It is close to airport & “City Mall” Costs 10 pesos per person to ride to City Mall on tricycle. It took us about 40 minutes to walk back to SAR from City Mall. The breakfast buffet was very good. The entire hotel staff was great. We enjoyed dinner twice at Cafe Felisa. Food was tasty & lovely ambiance. As for the room, we booked “deluxe twin room with balcony” After we checked in & saw our room, I questioned staff regarding “balcony” as there was none. We were on ground floor. Their definition of “balcony” translates to patio area outside of front door. “Balcony” is misleading. Our room is in need of updating. The room felt dirty because it needs updating. The pillows were old & musty. They should be replaced. Not pleasant trying to fall asleep with the funky smell from pillows. The pool area is very beautiful. This could be a very beautiful resort once they update the rooms & with continued maintenance & upkeep of the buildings. They already have the great, friendly staff & perfect location.

Everything we wanted
We were very happy with our experience. The room was clean. Fresh towels. The attendants were very accommadating. Staff named Vincent, Kent, and Jocelyn Alvero were very helpful. Definitely going to stay here again.

Pleasant stay. Some points for improvement...
Overall, the stay was pleasant. The staff was helpful. Lots of space. In-room WiFi was touch and go for a couple of nights, which was a bit inconvenient, but it got sorted out later on. The superior room could use more hooks on the wall to hang clothes, towels, etc. I had to improvise for that. Room could also use a bedside table lamps to make it easy to turn off the lights when going to bed. I had to get up and go to the other side of the room to turn off all the lights. Another suggestion is to remind the staff assisting the guest on entering the room if they would like some assistance in how to operate the devices in the room. I had to figure out how to turn the TV and cable box on. I also had to plug in the refrigerator on my own, and find out how to operate the water heater. I know these things are fairly simple, but it would be really helpful for the staff to offer to help, and not take it for granted that the guest knows how to do it.

Room Comfort
Large children pool with just under four foot deep adult and swimming children. First night at pool side bar I was told by one of cashiers that her coworkers were afraid of me. This I believe was based on I didn't speak filippineo. Two choices of adult beverage ( beer ) they were out of stock of others and end of evening out of another. Second day still running low on beverage supplies until I ask if their front restaurant had any supplies, yes they did and we had to send a runner to purchase for my. The mattresses in the room was 3 inches thick on a solid wood frame. If you weighted less then 115 Lbs. ( 57kilos) it might support you. I ended up sleeping on top of 2 mattresses. The pool I couldn't determine if public or guest. If you ate or drink at pool you could use it. Good for families.

Comfortable hotel
I booked this hotel for my elderly parents. Who only have praises for the comfort and cleanliness of the place. They said they really enjoyed their stay.

Hidden Treasure In Roxas
I cannot say enough good things about my extended stay here, the staff, Kristel, Herol, Zhai, the manager of the resort all are so dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your stay. the resort has a incredible breakfast buffet to get your day started next to the pool and lagoon, you can also have lunch and dinner in the resort or go across the street to their Seafood restaurant and enjoy fresh large oysters, a dozen is a dollar, or prawns or crabs or other assorted fish that is cooked perfectly. You have quite a few other seafood restaurants to choose from within walking distance or a short tricycle ride away as well as several malls, the resort is five minutes from Roxas airport and ten minutes from the huge Robinsons mall. This is my second trip to Roxas and from now on I will be staying at San Antonio Resort instead of the other Hotels in town. Again I cannot praise the resort staff enough, they are so helpful and really enjoy helping guests, I seen them do this with guests from New Zealand, Korea and Japan during my stay. If you get a chance to stay here you must go to Pueblo De Panay to experience dinner on floating tiki style huts.

OK, the room itself was OK. The bed was a bit hard, because it has no box spring. I'm not sure if this is a Philippines style bed or just this particular hotel, but what they give you is basically a thin pad sitting on a deck of solid wood. If you are (not skinny), or prefer sleeping on your side, then you will not like the bed. The bathroom was well equipped, but there are water pressure issues. Normally, I might complain about low water pressure. But this hotel has wildly fluctuating water pressure. Maybe it is nearby construction? There seemed to be lots of gas bubbles in the water. I was surprised that much of the walking areas of the hotel are dirt and/or gravel and/or GRASS. That might be fine in good weather. But walking around in mud while it's raining is not ideal. The WIFI works OK. You just have to re-enter the password every 30 minutes. The aircon was one of those small window style units. It might work if the outside temp. was below 40C. But when you start at 40C and drop the temperature about 10C...it is still very VERY hot in the room!!!! Food was fantastic, all things considered. I ordered many of the available dishes at the pool bar. I was never disappointed, and the prices were incredibly low. Think full dinner -with multiple drinks- for about $10-15 USD for one person. The free buffet breakfast is fantastic, especially if you like filipino food. But pancakes and fresh omelettes are available, also.

Ein angenehmes Hotel dass aber Renovierungsbedarf hat. Dass Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass Essen war eher eine Katastrophe .Der Koch müsste dringend ausgewechselt werden. Dass Zimmer war groß doch es mangelte etwas an der Sauberkeit.Für Reisende die nicht empfindlich sind kann man es empfehlen---essen kann man ja woanders.

Close to the beach
I booked 1 room and later added another room and they we're nice enough to let us transfer so we can have a joining rooms. Staffing are very friendly. We don't like the room we got transferred because the ac wasn't cold enough like our first room. I don't like that they never leave extra toilet paper in the room. Electric plug is a problem for us there is only 1 plug in unless we unplug the TV or refrigerator so we bought an extention cord.

Super close to the beach
The stay was fairly well here. The room itself was ok. It did have a little problem with ants but not too bad. Also, was not able to avail of the free airport shuttle for some unknown reason. Towel service was confusing as we had to call after room make up to get towels. On the upside, we didn't have the exact change after getting a tricycle ride to the hotel and was provided a loan from the hotel. Also, we did check in early with no problems, due to a change in flights. Water heater, softener and bidet included. Also, the beach is just across the street.
