"We had very pleasant interactions with the staff and the location couldn't have been more convenient to all the local shops, restaurants, and even the ferry to Mackinac Island. We were excited that our room was at the end of the building and hall as we hoped we'd have a window. We had a good laugh when our only view was the hallway. "We booked our stay at this hotel and found it to be in a great location for shopping and eating. The real issue is the facilities are outdated and the place needs to be renovated. Our toilet was not mounted properly, the wall paper was poorly maintained and the overall decor of the room was extremely dated. The beach access was nice, but there needs to be better maintenance of the area and lounge chairs on the beach. We will not be staying here again in the future, unless they put some money...

"From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more.
