"This was a perfect place for us to stay for 2 nights while the guys completed the GAP and C&O Towpath bike ride from Pittsburgh to DC. We enjoyed the country setting and the spacious deck and appreciated that we were still close to things we wanted to do in the Cumberland area. Beds were comfortable and the entire place was clean and as shown in the photos from the listing. We did not make much use of the kitchen facilities, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. "I’d love to gatekeep these Star Tannery cabins so they’re available for me, but they deserve a great rating. The whole family loves coming out and walking the trail together, sitting on the porch together…just being secluded together. Gold. "

"We had an amazing time! We were able to fully utilize the kitchen and grill to prepare meals throughout the whole weekend as the appliances worked and there was enough cooking ware for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and the hot tub was nice! The table games in the basement were fun to use too!Some of the doors were hard to fully close and/or lock. The lock box at the front door was finicky too. There was a broken step down to the river that should be fixed as it's currently a hazard"

"Sun Valley Overlook is aesthetically beautiful & the views are stunning! The big A-frame window space is just incredible! You will find this unique cabin well stocked & geared to set the mood for a hassle-free, relaxing experience. Every last detail is perfect! The outside space is equally as amazing. The hot tub is situated facing the gorgeous mountain backdrop & the fire pit (complete with everything you need to make s’mores) sets the mood for a cozy night together. We made good use of every...

"The house was nice and spacious for a family. The pool is well maintained with many toys and floaties available. The playground and trampoline were enjoyable for the kids. The only concerns were that the grill wasn't suitable for cooking and the kitchen cooking ware weren't organized and clean. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience!"
