Meget hyggeligt hotel. Super sød og venlig betjening. Morgenmaden var god, og beliggenheden er utrolig god i forhold til metro og gåafstand til Rom City og Vertikanet.

Lever ikke op til forventningerne
Dette hotel er udelukket et 4 stjernet hotel baseret på kriterierne. De opføre sig ikke som eller føles som et 4 stjernet hotel. Værelserne er umulig at være på, fordi de er så små og er fyldt op med diverse møbler/service som er krævet for at være 4 stjernet. Værelserne er ikke rene og sengene er sten hårde. Værelserne er virkelig lydhøre, så vi kunne hører absolut alt på gangen og nabo værelserne. Vi blev vækket den første nat, da receptionen, ved en fejl, havde givet andre gæster en nøgle til vores rum. Vi fik ingen forklaring eller undskyldning for dette, indtil vi selv krævede en kompensation. Dette krav blev dog mødt. Overordnet set vil jeg på ingen måder anbefale dette hotel

Hotellet er godt og har en god beliggenhed. Personalet er utroligt venligt, helt ekstra ordinært. Værelserne var lidt små og personligt synes jeg at sengene var lidt for korte, (jeg er 190 cm høj). Morgenmaden var god og varieret. Det største problem er med elevatorerne, som er meget små 4 personer, og du skal skifte på 1 sal hvis du videre op i bygningen, dette er et irritationsmoment.

This is an older quaint hotel but very clean, has AC, very large hot breakfast (optional), walking distance 15-20 mins to all the main attractions. Five min walk to the shopping district. Many restaurants walking distance. Small room but large bathroom, very nice sheets and towels, and very nice toiletries. Bed is very comfortable. Has a mini bar and snacks but no coffee/tea in the room which is the first time I see this in a 4 star hotel. Would be easy to put a kettle and tea / instant coffee packages. There is an excellent coffee shop / restaurant called Sensorio Coffee Lab about 100 m away (when you exit hotel, go left). This place gets 5 star google reviews. Coffee and chai tea, excellent sandwiches, they do brunch, desserts. It’s a real gem. We would stay at this hotel again only to be able to eat there again. The fire alarm went off for 45 mins at 6am because someone was smoking in their room. Well that got us up moving quickly. The streets of Rome were dead quiet - only 3-4 people at Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. So a blessing in disguise. The hotel has a bar, sitting area with baby grand piano, and a beautiful courtyard. The staff at the hotel were super nice especially Francisco.

The room was beautiful. The location was quiet and convenient. The room was kept nice and clean. The only thing that I didn't like was the shower. It was too small and cramped.

The River Palace in Rome is a truly lovely small hotel. The staff is absolutely fabulous, the hotel is elegant and clean, and it's an easy walk to the wonderful sights of Rome. The morning breakfast is perfect. Highly recommended.

Location of the property is perfect. Less than a 5 min walk from the Villa Borghese park (where you can row boats and view the sunset). It's also less than 5 mins from the piazza de popplo. There's loads of shops and restaurants all within walking distance. You can even walk to the colosseum (35 min walk roughly). The metro station is also less than 5 mins away if you don't want to make the slightly longer walks. The staff are really friendly and helped in decorating the room for a birthday. They also gifted us with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch.

I loved my stay at this hotel and will stay again. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. The rooms are clean, turn down servicex, and staff are all amazing. This hotel is perfectly located. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe. I was about to walk to all the sites which are amazing

While I agree that the rooms are rather small, as is the shower enclosure, I tend to expect this in European hotels. However, the facilities were clean and of very high quality in attention to detail. The whole hotel had a very elegant feel and appearance. The staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. It was located within easy walking distance of Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish steppes. Amongst all of these sites was the very large and extensive shopping district. This hotel was great for us and I would certainly stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Great Hotel in the center of Rome. Very clean and cordial staff. Walkable to main museums, shopping and metro. Breakfast is not included and the price is a bit high but everything else is wonderful.

This was a very nice hotel, we made a good choice. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It is a small hotel with a luxury feel. Our room was very nice. We wanted a hotel with a Rome flavor to it & The River Palace delivered. We were able to walk to the must see areas. The historic district was a long walk but doable. The hotel is in a good area. The staff booked us tickets , booked transportation helped with printing luggage tags. We would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Rome.

Great location but rooms are very small. Beds are adequate and not pillow top mattresses. Staff was great though. The best part was the location to Square, Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese Park.

These rooms are compact but well equipped with all the items that a four stars hotel guest may need, as complimentary WIFI, complimentary SKY TV (with several channels in English), complimentary amenities, and so on. The River Palace Hotel is a well-maintained smaller hotel with exceptional staff and services. Daily attention to the room with all the amenities needed for a terrific stay. The traditionally decorated room is carpeted with three sets of drapes. The staff are exceptional with their professional throughness and efficiency. The hot breakfast with a range of options, was a great way to start the day. The smell of the breakfast getting started was evident in our first floor room. The room faced the street but as promised, the area was very quiet by 9pm and we slept well with the room darkening curtains and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the hotel and location, as we could walk to various sites in the city. The comfort and location contributed to an overall wonderful first visit to Rome.

Dear Guest, thanks for sharing your experience and thank you for staying with us!As regarding your note we wish to inform you that the Municipal Administration has approved to change the city tax from Euro 6.00 to Euro 7.50 per person per night starting from October 1st 2023. Children aged 0-10 will be free of charge. The city tax is not included in the room rates and it should be paid directly upon check-out from the guests. Overall a great stay in a lovely hotel, the only issue being that we were unable to control the temperature of the room, which meant being hot quite often

The hotel oozes old-fashion glamour. It has a lovely courtyard where you can sip cocktails or just relax and mingle with other guests. The rooms are small and lacking in proper storage but nicely appointed and very tidy.

was just average. no free water in my room was annoying, couldn’t change the temperature in my room without calling the front desk (was annoying too). room was very very small. shower was also terrible.

Excellent choice and great location
Travelling as part of a group with all accommodated in the same hotel. Check in was swift, welcoming and straight forward. Room as described in terms of content and amenity. Only criticism would be lack of complimentary water and tea/coffee making facility and having to ask at reception for them to reset room temperature (no control within the room). Lobby and bar ambient. When we experienced a technical issue in the room they relocated us within 15 minutes. Would return without hesitation.
