The hotel did its best to take the corona situation into consideration with good social distancing, available hand sanitizer, and masks at all times. The room was quiet with a nice shower and the air condition worked well, which was needed for the heat.
The breakfast was really poor quality and we were not able to eat it, and we ended up spending extra money on food despite having extra paid for the breakfast for all the days. The hairdryer only worked for 30 seconds, and we could not iron our clothes in the room but had to go to a separate floor to a tiny boiling hot room where the iron did not actually work.
The pool access is limited due to covid restrictions which is entirely understandable, but there is no reservation system so you can easily go the entire stay without swimming unless you are persistent...this seems a little annoying when the pool is a big part of the hotels image.
Also due to covid we were told that our room would not be automatically cleaned and the minibar was not stocked. This left us feeling that we paid just for the bed, with no added frills.
The staff was super nice and helpful and the location was beautiful, so the stay was a mixed experience of good and bad. If you are looking for a lowkey hotel where you can sleep comfortably at night and get to the city easily, this is the place for you, just don't bother with the breakfast or expect anything too special.
