The interior of this property is beautiful, clean, and safe. Remind the owner to explain the door situation or you might get a surprise like I did! He is pretty quick overall with communications, helpful with recommendations, logistics, etc. and even helped me with some issues that arose. The beds are comfortable, just be careful getting out if you use the double; it's 2 mattresses together, and the one on the edge is much softer (I'm not a big person). There is a market and anything you need nearby. Chose this area to be near work for a few weeks, and it allows you to experience more local life (mostly good, some I could do without). Seems further away from more touristy areas, but that's just because of some situations with the bus. If you're out really late, plan for a taxi, or walk about 15 mins from the station once you catch a night bus. Keep in mind this unit has no AC. I was there during the heat wave, and even though I am from a hot area, with 2 fans in the apt. I had to adjust for a few days until it cooled off. 1 fan had died on me, but the owner said he would replace it. I thought it would be better to keep everything shut to keep the hot air out, but it was better having windows and doors open for flow. Each one has special shutters to keep the sun and any bugs out (barely had any!), but lets the air through.
Rubbish bins on surrounding streets are overflowing, but no fault of the owner, Rome just has an issue with that, that's why 4 stars there.
