Wonderful location outside of Rome by the water
Apartment was just as described - lovely! My husband and I had a great stay there. Domenico was a great host with greeting us, giving us recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and he even called the taxi service for us to make sure they understood the reservation I made in Italian. There are some flight of stairs, but my husband I didn’t have trouble with them and you get a beautiful look at the water from one of the landing. Wonderful place to go after a busy day in Rome. Great coffee and pastries at Remundi and Dulce Amore and loved the Mediterranean place called Zaza.

Perfectly positioned
We had a wonderful stay in this perfectly positioned apartment just a stroll to the beach. The beach was a beautiful spot for a walk with fantastic views on one side of you and the other lined with different shops and restaurants/cafes to stop and enjoy the coffee or a fabulous gelato. Domenico was very helpful and informative and accommodating to all our needs and the apartment was as listed we enjoyed our stay.

Mooi centrale plek. 5 minuten can hetcdtrandcen 15 minuten lopen naar tram. Geweldig verblijf
Badkamer was niet geheel schoon, de slaapbank was erg doorgezakt, maar het bed was goed. Het ideale is dat je mooi centraal zit en eeinig reistijd hebt om Rome te bezoeken

3 Night Stay
The apartment in Lido Di Ostia boasts a truly superior location. We were delightfully close to the beach, train, and an array of wonderful restaurants. The only drawbacks were the 6 flights of stairs with no lift, which might be challenging for some. However, this wasn't a major concern for us. Overall, a commendable stay and highly recommended for those who prioritize location.

Great location with many conveniences. Easy access to the metro and restaurants shops. Only negative was the six flights of stairs we had to climb with all our luggage (we were staying in Italy for a month and had six pieces of luggage!) plus not knowing that the public parking turns into a market on Saturdays.. Our car was towed… Dominico was a good host and helped with our unfortunate situation.

The apartment is nice. Booked it because I thought I read two rooms but was only one bedroom with 2 beds ( 1 double very firm bed and 1 single cot). Nice location for Lido Di Ostia. Owner provided information for area and how to get into Rome.

Hi, in order to be clear for everybody, the apartment is composed by a bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed and a living room with a sofa bed for two if needed. Then there is a kitchen and a bathroom and a small balcony. Best Regards Domenico Carrino

Excellent séjour
Très grand et très bel appartement. Climatisation dans la chambre et le séjour. Arrêt de bus en bas de l'immeuble qui vous conduit jusqu'à la gare où il y a beaucoup de possibilités de correspondances vers Ostia Antica (2 arrêts) et vers Rome termini (40 minutes). Nombreux restaurants et cafés dans Ostia. Communication très facile et très rapide avec Domenico. Merci!

Obiekt spełnił w 100% nasze oczekiwania. Spokojna okolica w centrum nadmorskiej miejscowości Lido do Ostia. Do morza 3 min spacerkiem. W pobliżu kilka supermarketów i dworzec autobusowy i kolejowy. Można świetnie spędzić czas na miejscu lub w ciągu ok. godziny znaleźć się w centrum Rzymu. Podróżowałam z 4 dzieci w różnym wieku. Nikt się nie nudził. Polecam tego gospodarza i obiekt!

Unser Aufenthalt war gut. 5 Minuten zum Strand, der leider 27€-30€ für 2 Personen (2xLiege 1xSchirm) sonst kommt man nicht rein, am Tag kostet.Das Meer ist max 1,5m tief. Die Wohnung ist super. Sauber und gepflegt. Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage u langem Bett. Bad mit Dusche u Waschmaschine. Küche, Kühlschrank,Gefrierteil,Spülmaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher,Gasherd,Backofen, Bühelbrett,Wäscheständer. Wohnzimmer, Klimaanlage, Sofa, großer Esstisch, Fernseher,. Kleiner Balkon. Rondum Rollläden an den Fenstern. Vom Wohnzimmer sieht man das Meer. Leider sind es 70 Stufen bis in die Wohnung. Gute Anbindung mit der Bahn nach Rom, 1,50€ pP. Viele Gaststätten mit realistischen Preisen. Obst, Genüsse Fisch und Fleisch bekommt man in den zahlreichen und naheliegenden Geschäften. Parkplatz ist vorm Haus, man muß allerdings Glück haben, einen Platz zu bekommen, viele Autos auf engen Platz.

The owner is very helpfull. The house is proper and has a washing machine and airco. You can sit on the small balcony. It is on the fourth floor; you have to take the stairs. If you arrive at the airport the most convenient way to go to the appartment is to take a taxi (€50,00). if you go by train you can take the train to Termini (You can go out at Ostiense) or you go to Termini. Then you take metro line B direction Laurentina. You have get off at EUR Magliana and then take the train direcion Colombo. You have to get off in Lido Centro. Then you can walk to the appartment (8 minutes). (If you go by train and metro it will take approximately 1,5hr) The taxi brings you in 20min to the appartment.

Appartement propre à proximité des services. Propriétaire très professionnel et disponible. Un charmant petit condo. Notre bémol n'est pas l'appartement ni le propriétaire, mais plutôt l'environnement. En effet, le quartier est sale et la plage publique est jonchées de déchets. Nous avons donc opté pour la plage privé au coût approx de 36 euros par jour pour 3 chaises longues. J'ai mis un 3 étoiles (bien) pour l'appréciation générale dû à l'environnement du quartier.

Our stay started with our flight being delayed and we arrived into Rome very late. Our host was most gracious in meeting us at 1am to get us checked in. Not ideal at all but thankful he was accommodating. He provided a map of the area and even wrote out for us area beaches, shopping and restaurants. It was very helpful especially when we realized the next morning getting out that it is not a big tourist area for Americans. Since we do not know Italian there was a small challenge but we found many local people helpful and friendly. The apartment was very nice with everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Walkable to beach, shopping and restaurants.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt
Die Wohnung hat ein Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bad, Flur und nur ---ein--- Schlafzimmer. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es ein Bett für zwei und ein Bett für eine Person (160x190cm und 80×190cm) . Die Matratzen sind sehr gut. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es ein ausklappbares Schlafsofa, das jedoch sehr unbequem ist. Die Matratze ist zu dünn und man spürt dadurch das Untergestell. Die Wohnung ist absolut sauber! Technisch ist alles in Ordnung. Die Klimaanlage ist neu und war bei den hohen Temperaturen auch erforderlich. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter Domenico war super. Die Wohnung können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Bis zum Strand geht man eigentlich nur wenige Minuten. Dort ist er jedoch gebührenpflichtig. Bis zum gebührenfreien Strand geht man ca. 10 Minuten. Das ist jedoch kein Problem. Am Strand kann man kilometerweit gehen. Wir waren in mehreren Restaurants. Ganz besonders möchte ich Euch die Küche des I Gastronauti, Via degli Aldobrandini, 27/29, ans Herz legen. Es ist nur 100 Meter entfernt und ist eher eine Trattoria mit Abholservice und wenigen Tischen, deshalb sollte man immer reservieren. Die Küche ist bio / organic und absolut super. Ihr solltet auch in das La Gnocceria, P.za Quarto dei Mille, 9/D, gehen. Reservierung nicht erforderlich. Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber auch nur wenige Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Dort werdet Ihr vom Inhaber bekocht und bedient. Es ist etwas höherpreisig, aber phänomenal.

Amazing Location & Property Manager
This was our first time out of the country, we are from the United States. It was our honeymoon. The property was in a great location.The apartment was very clean, organized & had everything we needed. The description & pictures are accurate. The transportation to and from Rome was great. Also a short walk to many restaurants, stores & beach with very friendly and welcoming community. Planes, trains, busses & all transportation was confusing for us as we do not have or use any at home.This caused a major delay in our arrival to the apartment. We also had no cell phone service which was unexpected. Leaving very limited communication.The property manager Domenico went above & beyond to make sure we arrived safely. Luckily, Domenico answered a phone call after midnight from a local man that allowed us to use his phone to call. Domenico was worried because he could not reach us and he had to go to work in only a few hours & didn't want to leave us stranded. He came to the apartment & not only let us in but still gave a quick tour & explained everything. I was in tears by this point & can not express my appreciation for Domenico enough. Thank you for being so kind to us. Luckily our honeymoon has been amazing during the rest of our time here in Italy. We will never forget you Domenico. 💕 Thank you.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. L'appartamento è carino, pulito e ben accessoriato. Il nostro host è stato molto disponibile e gentile e generoso di informazioni. Comoda posizione per visitare Roma, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Lido Centro. In mezz'ora si arriva comodamente a Roma centro al costo di un biglietto di bus.

Świetne miejsce by połączyć zwiedzanie Rzymu i odpoczynek nad morzem
Apartament w zasadzie w centrum Lido di Ostia, blisko plaży, sklepów czy restauracji. Piekarnia za rogiem. Wszędzie jest blisko. Sam apartament złożony jest z dwóch pokoi (w obu jest osobno sterowana klimatyzacja), kuchni i łazienki. Jest czysto i schludnie. Bardzo sprawny kontakt z właścicielem. Jedyną potencjalną wadą może być to, że lokal jest na trzecim piętrze bez windy. Nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale warto wiedzieć. Dla podróżujących samochodem - może być trudno znaleźć miejsce do zaparkowania, ale zawsze w promieniu 200-300m od apartamentu ostatecznie udawało się zaparkować. Ogólnie bardzo polecam, ja mam zamiar jeszcze tam wrócić. Dosłownie po drugiej stronie ulicy polecamy świetny bar z owocami morza.

The appartement is on the 3rd floor and have everything we needed. If you have a car, then it’s a challenge to find a parking spot near the building. In the neighborhood there is a lot of different shops and restaurants, so usually you won’t need the car at all.

A perfect spot near the ancient ruins of Ostia Antica. With the beach a block away and amazing food at your fingertips. Rome is an easy metro train ride away. Here you have it all at a great value!

Spacious, well located in Ostia. Nice area. Train to Rome for us was around 45 minutes. It was nice that it was far from so many people, only down side for us is that we are night owls and the last train back was 10pm. Great for longer stays, house is comfortable and clean.

Ostia, der Strand Roms
Das besondere an Ostia, dem Strand Roms, muss man erst erkunden. Der Ort hat seine besten Zeiten schon hinter sich. Er ist eine Mischung aus langsam verfallenden Häusern, sonniger Strandpromenade, wunderbaren Yachthafen und fantastischen Restaurants. Das Apartment, in einem der besseren Häuser, liegt an einer Nebenstraße, die aber auch Nachts deutlich hörbar befahren wird. Dafür ist die Verkehrsanbindung sehr gut, eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür und zum Zug nach Rom sind es nur 4 Stationen oder 15 Minuten Fußweg. Der Strand liegt auch nur zwei Nebenstraßen entfernt und vom Appartement kann man das Meer sehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es genügend um die Ecke. Das Apartment selber ist im dritten Obergeschoss, bietet, wie im Inserat angegeben, eine Küche, ein Bad, ein Esszimmer und und ein Schlafzimmer. Es ist sauber geführt und mit guten IKEA Möbeln eingerichtet. Der Preis des Apartments ist durchaus angemessen. Der Gastgeber, Domenico, ist immer per Messenger oder Mobiltelefon zu erreichen und beantwortet Anfragen sehr schnell. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man zwar Rom besuchen, dort jedoch kein teures Hotel buchen möchte.

Schöne Ferienwohnung im Herzen von Ostia
Die Kommunikation mit Domenico war sehr angenehm, er hat mir vor und direkt bei meiner Ankunft gute Hinweise sowie Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps gegeben. Die Wohnung selbst war sauber und genauso, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Alles, was man für eine Küchengrundausstattung braucht, war vorhanden. Auf dem Markt direkt in der Nähe gab es vormittags frische Lebensmittel (außer sonntags), die Metro ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt, eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Mindestens einmal muss man bei der Metro umsteigen, um in die Innenstadt Roms zu gelangen. Gerade am Abend fährt die Metro nicht mehr so häufig, so dass man die Rückfahrt etwas planen sollte. Die Fahrtzeiten sind ausgehängt. Der Strand ist das Highlight Ostias, aber darüber hinaus hat die Stadt nicht ganz soviel zu bieten. Dafür ist sie deutlich ruhiger als Rom und auch preisgünstiger. Das antike Ostia (ebenfalls ein Tipp von Domenico) war dafür wirklich spektakulär und mit der Metro in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

Kurztrip nach Rom
Eine helle, gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung, die mit allen Dingen, die zu einem gut sortierten Haushalt gehören, ausgestattet. Man fühlte sich dort wie zuhause. Der Vermieter Dominico ist sehr freundlich und hat uns einpaar Tipps bezüglich der Ausflüge gegeben. Alles in der Nähe: Bäckerei, Gemüseläden, Wochenmarkt, Bushaltestelle. 3 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Meer. Der Hafen ist etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Eine sehr gute Verbindung nach Rom (ca. 40 Minuten) : für 1,50 Euro kauft man eine Fahrkarte, die 100 minütige Fahrt mit allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel abdeckt. Die Fahrkarten gibt es um die Ecke in einem Lottoladen oder am Automat am Bahnhof ( kann man in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen). Der Aufenthalt in Lido di Ostia eine gelungene Mischung zwischen Rom Erkundung und den schönen Spaziergängen am Wasser mit Pausen in Cafés mit einem Drink und unendlichen Blick auf das Meer. Was für uns unerwartet war, sind die vielen Graffiti an den Häuser im Ort und überall liegender Mühl. Wir waren im Ort Ende Februar 2022, an den Touristen könnte es nicht liegen. Wunderful days in Rome and at the sea
The apartment is very centrally located in Ostia. It is very nice, clean and, through a window, you even have a view to the sea. Demenico was very nice and gave us some very valuable tips for the best restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors, all right around one of the next corners. The metro is easily accessible on foot or by bus. It takes around 40 min. to get into the center of Rome. In the summer it is certainly totally overcrowded in Ostia. But during our visit in October we had free access to the beach and because of the nice weather we spent a few days off from the city by the sea. Thank you Domenico, we as family enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for your great tips. We can highly recommend this apartment to all visitors to Rome or Ostia. And if you are in Ostia and have enough time, you should definitely not forget to visit the archeological excavations of Ostia Antica.
