"What a pleasure! Both the accommodations and our Host! The home was on a very quiet street within walking distance of town. Exceptionally well appointed and very updated (in fact it appears to be brand new). Communication was great, we had zero issues. We were overjoyed with the coffee set up (we’re big coffee lovers), more choices for brewing than you can imagine! "This was a lovely place to spend a night catching up with some family--it was a meeting point for us coming from different directions. The rural-ish but neighborhoody surroundings, and the beautiful canal and walking paths along it, were lovely and relaxing. A nice respite from the city. The house itself was cute and homey. The only issues we had were that the hot water wasn't working; we didn't try using it until about an hour before we planned to depart, so I suspect the host would have been...

"Really cool spot. Very unassuming on the outside, but some really creative touches all throughout the interior. The movie room is amazing. Our king bed drooped a bit in the middle, but that would be my only flag."

"We were looking forward to our first visit to Harpers Ferry, unfortunately we left early. The house was clean but, the windows have only sheets curtains, therefore at night there’s no privacy, anyone can see you from the road. Also some windows don’t lock. We did receive 100.00 back towards the night we didn’t used."

"This is once again a terrible experience using a VRBO listing. We were contacted a few minutes to check-in that the cleaning staff were not done and ready for us to occupy. This was awful because we had been out and about all day and needed to clean up and freshen up because we had a show to attend in Shepherdstown at 5:30 pm. I told the contact we did not care if cleaning people were there we needed to get in at 4pm as promised and we would be gone in 40 minutes!!! but we need to get ready!...

"This apartment was so adorable. Even better was the neighborhood and surrounding downtown area. The houses, the businesses, the people on the street - it was straight out of a hallmark movie. The restaraunts were unbelievable good, and the walkway on either side of the beautiful canals were a must see. I hope that I can travel back to Fredrick another time, I just loved everything about it."
