Hytter i Roaring Creek

"We met some old friends of ours for a weekend stay. The place was perfect for 2 couples- 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and we shared the common area kitchen. we were too busy catching up to use the hot tub or the sauna. We could have used some more kitchen cleaning stuff (a sponge, scrubber or brush) but we made it work. When we got there the place was immaculately clean. I highly recommend. "

"Cold . Rain. Muddy. Cabin warm. Clean. No towels for showers. One kitchen towel. Well water had a bad odor. I guess that’s to be expected . Overall a good place to stay if I go back to the area. "

"My husband and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway just the two of us. It was exactly the relaxing country atmosphere we were looking for to reconnect without our children present. The only thing that could've made it better would've been a hot tub, but that would have just been extra decoration on an already deliciously decorated cake. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit outside, talking, and relaxing with each other. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cozy cabin retreat!"

"The yurt was great. Perfect size for a couple getting away for a long weekend. The bed was very comfortable but it needs a little back board or headboard, so you can prop yourself up. The private hot tub was excellent, an added for a Yurt. The kitchen is small, but well equipped with a full size fridge. We had heavy rains and thunderstorms on and off the whole time we were there, but the rain coming down on the top of the yurt was very soothing and relaxing. Thanks for a great little place...

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peaceful surroundings and the natural beauty that envelops the property. A charming creek runs through the land, providing the perfect soundtrack for morning coffee and evening conversations on the porch.Each night, deer would wander into the backyard, and feeding them became a magical experience that our kids absolutely loved. Watching their excitement...

"Wonderful place to stay at. Loved the community feel even though wasn't expecting it. Also appreciated it was 15 minutes to nearest town, so great location to get around the area. Would definitely like to stay here again. Only thing i didn't like was all the additional fees at the point of checkout; would be better to just incorporate some of the fees into the actual nightly cost, but i think that's more of an application service issue and not the host,so why i didn't reduce stars."
