"Cecelia was a very accommodating host. Even though we had a language barrier, we used translation apps. She gave us pointers about local attractions and food. The facility is exactly as advertised in the listing. Nice little cottage style rooms."

"This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. "The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Rick and Ashley were wonderful hosts and the house was every bit as nice as the pictures lead you to believe. Good drinking water from the tap, excellent big showers, nicely decorated, and seriously in the heart of the rain forest. On the porch you see nothing but trees and birds. Birds and more birds. "Everyone was very hospitable and helpful. The accommodations were perfect for me. I had a wonderful time in this community. I chose not to drive but to walk everywhere nearby, but certainly if you want to explore more of Costa Rica, consider getting a car. The tours available here are wonderful. The experiences are life-changing. I would return in a heartbeat. Everything about this place and my time here has been golden."
