Grīziņkalns (neighborhood) with its unique wooden buildings is also attractive to tourists since the buildings are a component of a national cultural historical monument – Riga Historical Centre which also belongs to the UNESCO World Culture Heritage list.
Getting around Grizinkalns became a unique place that not only refreshes the area (renovated building, installed surveillance cameras, street signs, etc.) but also offers a diverse range of culture and art events. In the cozy atmosphere of Koka Riga (the wooden architecture center), visitors may enjoy the events of modern culture in different genres and ambiances. Various public events such as seminars, conferences, and exhibitions are organized in the large exhibition hall.

Parking: no private parking. Nearest car park: Snabb Ģertrūdes 131, Ģertrūdes iela 131 – €1.50 per hour, €3.50 per day, €35 per month (no weekly rate); pay in the Snabb app or at the machine. Street parking around the building is paid city parking (Rīgas satiksme): €1–3 per hour depending on the zone on the street signs, paid Mon–Fri 08:00–20:00 and Sat 09:00–17:00, free on Sundays and public holidays. Pay in the Mobilly, EuroPark or Rīgas satiksme app. Prices are approximate – please check the current tariff in the app or at the entrance.
House rules:
• No smoking anywhere in the apartment or building (penalty 200 EUR).
• No parties or events.
• Quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00.
• No pets.
• We don`t have luggage storage before check-in or after check-out – paid KeepMyBag luggage storage is available in Riga Old Town.
• Please let us know about any damage so it can be repaired or replaced.
