Hotellet er i udgangspunkt fint men der er meget larm fra gaden og det undre mig, at man ikke har sat mere støjdæmpende vinduer i et så forholdsvis nyt hotel. Hotellet roses for deres morgenmadsbuffet men modsat andre steder jeg overnattede på Island kunne vi ikke få klassisk skyr. Skuggi har kun den kunstigt sødet “vanilje” variant, hvilket jeg synes er ærgerligt.

Thank you very much for finding the time to review our hotel. Sorry to hear that you were bothered by the noise, however our windows are quite high quality noise cancelling type, we rather receive compliments about them. Of course being a downtown hotel it is not entirely silent like being in the country side, however we have the advantage of the convenient location being close to most tourist attraction. We are also sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the flavour of the skyr. We hope you visit us again in the future.

Fint hotel med god beliggenhed. God morgenmad. Rent og pænt. Store værelser med gode senge. Fine badeværelser. Alt for dyrt. Hotellet er flot og ligger godt, men det er alt for dyrt i forhold til alternativerne.

Good and nice hotel. It is located in the city center and you have everything close by. Free parking and at the hotel and also indoor parking.. Room good and nice and it is still like new... clean and good bed. A very good hotel and I will be back.

Dejligt hotel
Super dejligt hotel, som ligger godt og central i skønne og hyggelige Reykjavik. Personalet var sødt, servicemindet og hjælpsomt. Værelset rummeligt og rent, og morgenmadsbuffetten var virkelig lækker. Kan varmt anbefale et ophold på Skuggi Hotel by Kea

The hotel was walking distance to everything, restaurants, shopping, downtown, bus station, excellent location, breakfast and parking included, room had been recently updated, very clean property, breakfast was very good, room had blackout curtains. I would stay again

There was a rattling sound in the bathroom - thought it was the pipes, called reception and they came up to check asap. Was just the wind, they asked if I wanted to change rooms but it was fine.

Skuggi is located at the city, easy to move around. Attractions are nearby; shopping and dinning are all within walking distance. Room is clean and comfortable. Room is considered small for a couple with photography gears. I did asked for morning call but the call came a little later. Otherwise, a wonderful hotel at the city of Reykjavik.

I love the location of Skuggi Hotel which gave us easy access to the Harbor and Laudagavur St. for shopping. Everything is within walking distance- Bakery, good restaurants, grocery Shopping(Extra) and Bus stop 9. We can go around knowing we are safe even late at night after waiting for the Aurora by the harbor. Skuggi staff greets you warmly and always ready to assist. Breakfast is good, too.
