"I stayed four nights. I didn't really use the facilities or the breakfast so I can't comment on them. The only fault was the desk chair arm was cracked underneath and it was a little... "uneven" when you leaned back. It worked fine and I used it quite a bit. Whoever took care of my room did an excellent job, the two staff people were very nice and the bed was very comfortable! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the West Bend AmericInn to others and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks...

"The room was clean, the property is an older hotel but generally in good condition. We had room 2, clean, beds comfortable but the baseboard heat would not shut off- had to run the old air conditioner on high to keep room at 70 degrees (room temp was 79 degrees without air cond.) water to shower would not shut off completely, but plenty of hot water. few ammenities but we knew that ahead of time."

"Affordable. Get what you’re paying for. A bowl of cereal and a banana in the a.m. to get you rolling. I stayed 3 nights, no daily room service, so clean up after yourself or ask for an extra towel. Good if you don’t need extras… just a clean night stay"

"We have been staying here for years. Always our first choice. Occasional new staff member since the last visit. Sometimes the arent the greatest. There is a skinny reddish hair man who likes to charge for water when in fact every other staff member has given it complementary. Other than that a breakfast lady who appears to dislike her job. This will still be our top choice "

"It was a totally different experience...better than backpacking yet not as many comforts as a hotel room. However, we really enjoyed the experience. Loved that we had an electrical outlet and for some reason not a bug got into the tent. Bonus!"

"We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Lily Pad. You absolutely cannot beat the location in downtown Cedarburg, with its charming shops, historic sites and good restaurants. There was even a good coffee & breakfast shop next door. It is a charming historic home, but this also means it has its own character and quirks. That’s to be expected, but we much prefer this, over a vanilla hotel chain. Our room was equipped well, and it’s obvious that much thought was put into providing everything a guest...
