"Well the parking was good. We arrived late and it took 2 rings of the bell to get someone to check us in, bed was okay. Ceiling were cracked and flaking, no real toiletry items, BR tissue was rough line sand paper, TV didn’t work or it was the remote who knows! Will not stay there again."

"What a lovely little getaway cabin! We had a relaxing stay while in town visiting friends. We did not do any off roading so can not speak to that, but we enjoyed the surroundings and the clean, fully equipped space. The road noise is a bit much but that is not fault of homeowners! We wished we could have stayed longer!"

"When we arrived it looked like the hot tub was leaking. The side walk had green algae on it which required us walked over. Pictures on the site did not match what we actually saw and when we called the host she stated pictures were for staging. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom s not hooked up and host said it’s not listed in the amenities. We rented this place for my wife to use the hot tub and so I could use the jacuzzi. The hot tub was clean, nice and worked properly. It's secluded but...

"Very spacious and comfortable. The rooms were clean and decorated very nicely! I love that the Host responded quickly! We didn’t experience any issues or problems. There’s also plenty of space for parking. The bathroom was nice and clean. Kitchen and living room very spacious and clean. I love that they have games/ family activities. Thank you for such a wonderful, lovely stay and for helping our family build memories together."

"Winnsboro Lake Retreat was very relaxing. The interior of the house was spotless. Every we needed and more was at our disposal. Beds were comfortable and the view out at the lake was great. We were a little disappointed that the dock was not usable. We were not informed before our stay about this condition and we should have been. We did not swim as the area looked unsafe to be in the water. Overall our stay was very nice."

"This was an excellent place to stay out in the country while visiting NE Texas. We really enjoyed our stay w/ 3 kids (9, 6, 4) and one elderly. The house is cute and well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. The private pond is beautiful and close to the house, but not TOO close (FYI if you have really little ones). There were 2 rowboats and a canoe which we enjoyed. We saw fish moving though didn't catch any ourselves. Paula the host was extremely helpful and responsive. ...
