"The hotel was better than some of the reviews we read. Sure, it was a bit tired, but overall the location was lovely. The rooms were fine. The views were especially nice. It wasn't terribly expensive at least off season. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"The entrance is around the right side, not the door in front."

"Very nicely renovated staff was very helpful."

"Everything is very old, it needs renewing. It is a very petfriendly place."

"A clean, pleasant hotel with lots of light and friendly staff in the middle of little Leonardtown. I actually asked the front desk if they were new because of how clean everything was and they said they did a major renovation about 5 years ago. Easy (and FREE) parking across the street. Our room (a king bed) was clean and quiet. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'd stay."

"I loved that I was able to bring my doggies. The only complaint and this is not the hotel fault, is that even when you know guest have to pick up after their pets, I unfortunately still found a few drops in the grass, meaning people do not pick up their pets poops. Besides that, my stayed was really nice."

"Upon arrival we were shocked to see complete front entrance demolition/ remodeling! We honestly thought the place was closed and we were at the wrong location! After a few seconds, we notice temporary arrow signs leading us to a temporary entrance. Thank goodness. Staff greeting was professional and pleasant. No mention of the demo. We were promptly checked in and given our room #. Room was wonderful and no complaints other than location. First floor, right next to "new entrance" and double...

"Lovely waterfront quiet neighborhood."

"Great location, house was clean and well furnished. Hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay in the Love Shack near Piney Point. It’s a small, cozy retreat in a beautiful and rural part of Maryland. The place is very clean, comfortable, quiet, and the listing details are accurate. Owner Katie is extremely helpful and communicative. We hope to return some day."

"10/10 experience from check in to check out. Property was clean. The owners were friendly and accommodating with everything we needed."

"A beautiful home in a quiet area along the waterfront. Owner was responsive immediately when we had questions. Definitely look forward to coming back!"
