"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"The bach was in excellent condition, incredibly clean, and had everything you could need. Andy and Lea thought of the smallest details to ensure we had everything we needed. Lake Ferry is a stunning little town, gorgeous sunset and great fish and chips at the Lake Ferry Hotel. Right on the doorstep of Cape Palliser and even more stunning scenery. Would highly recommend this region and this bach to stay in. Definitely visit the Land Girl café just 10 mins up the road for an excellent coffee. "

"Clean and tidy house. Lovely location really close to Martinborough. Might be a bit cold in winter because it’s so huge, but there are two open fires as well as heaters, and wood provided so could be nice and cozy too once fired up. Hot tub is an inflatable one and smallish, but still lovely to have. "

"Lovely private location. Warm and cozy house with lots to keep the kids occupied at the home and around the property. The pétanque court needs a bit of attention, but the tennis court and trampoline were well kept."

"The house is lovely, so lovely in fact that I wouldn't mind living in it permanently as the layout suited our family so perfectly. The first night was very windy, which did make sleeping difficult, but that would have been the case with any house in an open field in that wind. The location was also ideal - close enough to shops and restaurants, but rural enough to feel like a real breakaway from city life. The only thing I would have changed is to maybe have one or two of the wardrobes unlocked...
