"We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was to a level beyond our expectations."

"Room needed a spring clean... coffee stained plug hole in sink, icebox needs defrosting (ice cubes would be great). Bathroom ceiling needs dead bugs removed, vent need webs removed, garbage bin pedal was broken. However it was clean. Good tv facilities were there but you had to sign in to stuff. We watched tv1 but it kept dropping us. Spa the treadmill vibrated when running at speed so remote was flung off and slammed into wall (all still worked)"

"Run by a sweet elderly couple, the bath, kitchenette and linens were very clean. However, the carpeting was not and the facility could use a good freshening up. It is very convenient to everything in Martinborough and was inexpensive."

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"Greytown is a lovely small town in the Marlborough wine district, and the Castle provided the perfect place to base our time in the area. It is a charming separate small house, within easy walking distance to everything in town. The house had everything you could need for a quiet, lovely stay. Highly recommended!!"
