"Beautiful spot and rooms were gorgeous. A bit of a hassel getting in as everything is done online and codes wouldnt work and we had to call twice. No staff on site, so no one to contact about towels and the burnt out lightbulb on the night stand light. Other than that it was a great place and we hope to stay again!"

"We havent been to the Towne Motel for a few years. It's been renovated, new mattresses and a brand new pool house/lounge. Pool was nice and clean, as was everything else. Staff were super friendly. "

"If you are going to Northern Maine, Jackman Maine you have to stay at Sky Lodge - Main Lodge is a gem, a beautiful time stood still lodge - we stayed in a cabin across the street - Oh My - every thing you need and more - just a very special place. Loved it."

"Don was a kind and very good host who enjoys meeting people and giving them the best experience in a beautiful place. The Bears Den is comfortable, clean and in a perfect location for anyone visiting Moosehead Lake for any activities in summer or winter. We can’t recommend the Bears Den more highly. "

"Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! "

"Lois greeted me and was very welcoming, showed me some of Paul’s woodwork and showed me around the cabin and grounds. It was extremely peaceful and cozy, very close to bigelow and flagstaff, and a nice fire pit out back, cool outdoor kitchen and comfy bed. I was happy and grateful. "

"Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "

"Great little place with a great view of Moosehead Lake and Mt Kineo! Super clean and just right for my husband and me for three nights. Good spot for going out and exploring (drove Golden Road and scenic byway near Mt Katahdin, hiked Mt Kineo, watched moose near Greenville). Ate dinner at nearby Rockwood Bar & Grill. Excellent!"
