"Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. "

"Very beautiful and in a perfect spot! Lots of little stands nearby and the lake parking lot is a three minute drive. It could have been cleaner inside the place, had to body a spider once or twice and found some webs but overall very nice stay!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful garden, you can hear the birds in the morning when you walk outside. The host has a variety of pamphlets with things to do and maps of Victoria and surroundings which was very helpful to plan our day. The stay comes with lots of entertainment options from streaming, books and games. Also, it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. We would definitely book again."

"Rosie's retreat is a great place to stay in Victoria. Located in a quiet neighborhood just 20 minutes drive to downtown Victoria. Linda is a great host. She left us a few "extras" which we really appreciated. She was also quick to respond to us and checked in to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!"

We were visiting Victoria to celebrate my sister’s graduation from UVic and it was great for working remotely, 5-15 min driving distance and bus available to downtown and UVic. It was great to have a parking spot. The place was very clean and was perfect for having dinner with family. "

"Our whole family visited Victoria attending Provincial music competition held in UV for two kids. This house is so close to UV with only 5 minutes drive. House owner is so nice and prepared lots of food in the fridge. He even let kid use their piano practicing for the competition. Very happy stay and will recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The suite is roomy for 2 people and was meticulously clean. The back patio was a lovely outdoor space and the hosts garden is beautiful. The location was easy to get to and also easy to drive into Victoria and surrounding areas. We would love to stay here again. "
