"This amazing place has everything for a stay in a unique building in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The old rectory house is a lovely building with so much character. It is located in a quiet area and within walking distance to Arrow Valley country park which has some lovely walks, scenery and wildlife. "Very disappointing stay and certainly not the standard advertised. We booked a half-board stay after seeing the hotel’s own advertising which stated guests could enjoy a “3-course set menu dinner”. Instead, we were presented with a buffet that was of extremely poor quality. The carvery meats were largely inedible, vegetables were either undercooked or poor quality, and some items appeared frozen or improperly prepared.
