"The location of this hotel is great, right on the harbour with amazing views and sunsets. It’s convenient if you are doing a day trip to Savary Island. However the building is very old, with rotting railings, paper thin walls, and the rooms are tiny. No screens on the windows so bugs come in, and the window A/C was louder than a freight train. There was a foul smell coming from the bathroom."

"The cabins were wonderful.I came into town for first aid training and stayed two nights. The owners responded very quickly, gave me all the information that was needed and the pictures reflected the cabin very well. I wish I had more time.\nTo feed the animals as there was food in the cabin for them. I found the bed very comfortable and the bath tub fit me well , i'm 6'2". The hot tub was great, but I was only utilize it one night because I was studying, thank you"

"We LOVED our stay at the Valdi Homestead! It was such a calming, well thought-out cabin, surrounded by such beautiful nature. We had so much fun meeting the farm animals (especially the surprise bonus puppies!). Alex and Vanessa were so welcoming and kind, and truly made us feel so at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing and cozy getaway!"

"What a gem! Beautiful, well equipped home with ocean view. Beds and furniture all extremely comfortable and good quality. Loved the enormous deck and attention to detail. We have stayed here at least three times when while in BC to see family, and will keep coming back!"
