"I spent a week here and can’t wait to return. The location was dauntingly remote looking at a map. But anywhere worth going to on this side of the island requires driving anyway. The walkable nude beach was a big highlight. The hot tub and outdoor shower was also a great touch."

"You could tell that the hostel has been a work in progress over the years built on a solid bed of black lava and completely off of the grid! "The room was amazing. I loved the sounds of the birds and frogs. The garden was beautiful and the property well maintained. Even though they say it’s an old house and you might hear people in other rooms, I did not. I never waited for a bathroom to use either. It was a quiet and peaceful stay just 5 minutes outside the park. It was nice having a full kitchen as well. "
