"The property was great except for getting in and out of the nice pool. No ladder or stairs. Not having a/c and sleeping with bug spray on was not good. Nice people wonderful breakfast. "

"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views!
The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning.
The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed.
The beach was incredible!
It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"Magical. It takes some time to get to the Villa and be aware the roads are not paved or flat. All wheel drive helped a lot. the trips is worth it though. If you are looking for nightlife and action. this is not the best choice. If you are looking for tranquility and a truly immersive Costa Rica experience this place is perfect. The people in town were great and everywhere we ate was delicious. We were also lucky enough to have the caretaker Lisbeth make a few dinners and she is a great cook....

"This property is STUNNING! Loved the pool, open air kitchen, and all the bedrooms have their own bath + lock. Great house for a family or group. Be aware there are very few amenities around and it is difficult to get to- but worth it once you arrive. Beachfront with a giant yard/hammocks and water toys."

"Absolutely amazing 4 nights here. Beach is remote and empty. Great ocean waves were fun with teenagers. They took Eddies surf class down the road at San Miguel surf school and had a great time. Food from Mrs Domiguez was fantastic, plentiful, and convenient but the restaurants were great too. Loved the Pizza Tree. Some of the best pizza weve had. The house is perfect. "Luna Azul was the perfect base of operations for our vacation. We absolutely loved the remote and peaceful atmosphere, and especially the incredible views. Days spent at the house around the pool were a great way to relax and unwind. The location was also ideal for exploring the Nicoya peninsula. We enjoyed a coffee plantation tour, horseback riding, surfing at several of the nearby beaches, and touring the small beach towns.
