Hotels.com used “Half pension” but it did not completely describe what was really offered. It was full buffet morning and evening. "

"Stayed for two nights. Aamazing service and free snacks and drinks. Hotel seems a bit outdated, and private onsen especially looked outdated. Also seems great if you are a family and less as a couple. Breakfast Buffet wasn’t in our taste, and didn’t seem very delicious. Few western choice that tasted well, but a lot of options if you are into the Japanese breakfast style. Location was great in Gora close to cable car and other good restaurants and coffee bar (coffee champ) "

The buffet for both dinner and breakfast was very nice with broad options, and a lot of different options for drinks. Lastly the staff was so nice and helpfull. Lastly the rooms were large and clean."

"Staff were very kind and informative. At check in, they sat me down & explained everything about the hotel. My room had the most incredible view of Hakone. The hotel was very clean. The bath house was very nice. There was also a neat little lounge room with records and such as well as a foot bath on the first floor. I did not take advantage of these things during my stay but still very nice features! The free breakfast was decent, mostly bread items. I don’t really have any complaints."
