"Pool is fantastic and service is great, but the drinks have no sugar and the alcohol seem to be wrong in taste, really bad. Rooms are good, clean and new. There is sadly no beach in front of the hotel, but you can walk to a "worn out" beachfront in 10 minutes, trashed by flooding, where swimming is not allowed due to currents! Take a daytrip south to get to nicer beaches."

"Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. The resort offers and train/boat ride through the property, which is beautiful and loads of fun. The waterpark has a couple of fun slides. "Good place to stay at and vary save area and nearcto shopping area"

"The hotel is clean with spacious room facilities. The room has a great beach view and is quiet and calm. For convenience here is a coffee shop, supermarket and restaurants right next to the hotel. Staff were polite with no check-in or check-out problems. I would stay here again"

"i dont know what to say..because for me this hotel is ok n im just in the wrong time and situation..Im stuck in miri because of the covid19 n lockdown issue..my flight back to kl cancel and i was asked to quarantine myself in the place where I was staying ... at the start of my stay at the meritz hotel for 1 weeks but I had to move out and look for another hotel because they had closed their hotel due to covid19 issue and I had to find a hotel that was still operating and at that time only...
