"Pool is fantastic and service is great, but the drinks have no sugar and the alcohol seem to be wrong in taste, really bad. Rooms are good, clean and new. There is sadly no beach in front of the hotel, but you can walk to a "worn out" beachfront in 10 minutes, trashed by flooding, where swimming is not allowed due to currents! Take a daytrip south to get to nicer beaches."

"It was nice to come to this hotell or maye its more like a resort. The road up all the hills was for our car a chalange. No problem checkig in, then we went for a walk in the rain forrest, on wooden walkway we ended up in the lagoon in the jungle. It was nise, svimming and went back for dinner in the TreHill resturant. All included this was Nise. Day two we where at the pool, and anopter treim around in the area. Lots of things to do and if like us, didn want to do anythig except sitting lokking...

"i dont know what to say..because for me this hotel is ok n im just in the wrong time and situation..Im stuck in miri because of the covid19 n lockdown issue..my flight back to kl cancel and i was asked to quarantine myself in the place where I was staying ... at the start of my stay at the meritz hotel for 1 weeks but I had to move out and look for another hotel because they had closed their hotel due to covid19 issue and I had to find a hotel that was still operating and at that time only...
