The room was really well kept and actually looked to be recently renovated. This place has VIEWS!! Also, the bus tour out of Denali will pick you up here instead of having to drive to the transportation center and park which is really convenient. We were very happy to have chosen this property. The signs on the road up the hilll are worth the drive, lol."

"Just wonderful. Really comfortable bed (which is what you want if you're doing a lot of hiking). Historical building, with the oldest bathroom in Talkeetna (with a plaque to memorialize it). Check in at the bar downstairs, a great place to meet the locals (and their good looking dogs), on site restaurant. Note: there is no elevator, you have to bring your bags up the steep flight of stairs yourself. Loved it, would definitely stay again."
