"Poor services"

"Sehr schön gelegene Lodge mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Leider hatten wir in der 2. Nacht Ratten im Zelt was weniger schön war..es wurde sich aber schnell darum gekümmert. Zudem sind die Einheimischen in der Umgebung anscheinend sehr Partyfreudig, weswegen es manchmal bis 23 Uhr sehr sehr laut war! Schade… aber alles zusammen ein guter Aufenthalt."

"The Coconut Garden has a stunning view from the top rooms. The garden is beautiful and the pool is very nice. You can even take a swim at night, because there are lights under the water. But the rooms are very worn down! Lamps that does not work, not very nice bathroom and no tv in the room. On Hotels.com they wrote that the room had 1 bed and there was actually 4 beds. We could have saved a lot of money if we knew, that all could sleep in the room. Instead we had to order 2 rooms. There are...

"This hotel is located just in front of the entrance of Bundala national park. I really enjoyed early morning safari which they recommended. They provided me an upgraded room, and free dinner. That was so surprising. And I could see an elephant from the balcony at night. I hope to come back with friends in top season because they told me that we can camp in the national park with reasonable price."

"Yala Safari Camp has 6 luxury tents at this unique spot. You arrive at the reception/restuarant area and your all inclusive stay starts. This area is high up on rocks and has a wounderfull view off the treetops. The stay starts with a nice tastefull Sri Lankan lunch. After that we did a Safari in block 5 (where afternoon safaries go). The jeeps they use have good soft seats. If you want to do block 1 it starts very early the next morning. This place is near the 2. gate to block 1 that has fewer...

"This is fabulous hotel! Very picturesque, clean, modern and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The pool is a great size with a modern gym. We stayed here for easy acess to Yala national park which is only about 20 mins away. "

"Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."
